Project statement
Protection parts are usually treated as an afterthought. This one was designed as a piece of the motorcycle — not a bracket bolted on after the fact. It protects without visually apologizing for existing.
Design direction
Structural clarity: the geometry communicates what the part does. No decorative surfaces, no hidden hardware, no visual noise.

Load direction
The primary tube direction follows the force path of a low-side slide, keeping the leg clear of the contact surface.

Mounting strategy
Frame-mounted rather than engine-mounted, so force transfers into the chassis instead of the crankcase.

Surface language
Restrained geometry — the part reads as functional, not ornamental.
